Back in January 2018, AIG acquired Validus Holdings, a leading provider of reinsurance, primary insurance, and asset management services. As part of the Validus acquisition, AIG also acquired Talbot, a Lloyd’s of London syndicate focused on short-tail specialty lines that is part of Validus.

I am pleased to run the Latin American Facultative Desk under AIG’s brand and expand AIG General Insurance’s regional underwriting capabilities. This unified offering provides coordinated distribution and timely solutions for insurance companies and reinsurance brokers through a single point of access.
